Many people are confused about ‘the core’ and how to train the core muscles.

Rather than focusing on simply contracting isolated core muscles in your workout (such as a sit-up), we can achieve better results by understanding how the core operates and exercise accordingly.

There are 7 major muscles that make up the core, and together they have 2 primary functions in our body: 1) a stabilizer, so you can stay upright; and 2) a force transfer, for heavy loads moved through the body. We employ a technique that integrates the core muscles in this way directly into your exercise program, so that you don’t need to do a sit-up ever again while gaining a rock-hard, functional core!
